Shri Badri Narayan Ji Temple

The Badri Narayan Temple is located in the Batseri village at a mere distance of about 500 metres from the hotel. It is consecrated to Lord Badri Narayan Ji & Lord Vishnu Narayan Ji. The architecture of the temple showcases a blend of Hindusim & Buddhism. The temple complex also serves as the meeting place for the villagers on important occasions & festivals. The Gods are taken out only on select occasions and it is only the priest who can enter the sanctum sanctorum.

Rakcham

Rakcham is the second last village on the Indo-Tibetan road that lies between Chitkul and Batseri. It is a small village that is blessed with many beautiful farms & orchards, snow-clad peaks, lush green trees and the melodious Baspa river. The village lies at an altitude of 2900 meters & is the abode to the temples of Goddess Kali, Lord Shiva and a Buddhist Shrine, showcasing a cultural blend of Hindusim & Buddhism.

Shri Bering Nag ji Temple

The Bering Nag Ji Temple is one of the major temples of the Sangla Valley which is dedicated to Lord Jagas (a reincarnation of Lord Shiva) and Lord Buddha. The temple acts as an important place of worship specially during the famous event i,e the "Fulaich fair", which takes place every year between August and September. The temple features beautiful wooden carvings and Buddhist prayer wheels.

Kamru Fort

The Kamru Fort is one of the oldest forts of Kinnaur and is situated at an altitude of 2600 metres. The fort is designed in the kaathkuni architecture and used to be the original seat of the Bushahr dynasty. The fort features a number of gates, a graceful wooden balcony and an idol of Kamakhya Devi (Kamakshi Devi) at the top of the building. It offers a beautiful view of Kinner Kailash, Sangla vilage and the valley beyond.

Trout Farm

The trout farm in Sangla is a Government run farm that is located on the left bank of the Baspa river in Sangla. The best way to reach there is by going on a short walk through an enchanting dense forest that offfers a glimpse of several cascading waterfalls on the way. If you are love eating fish, you can buy some for as low as Rs. 450/kg and then get it cooked at the hotel at a nominal rate.

Rupin Pass

The Rupin Pass is one of the most fascinating treks in India that lies at an altitude of 4650 metres. It is a moderate trek and is perfect for trekkers who have done an easy trek previously & are looking to step up their trekking game. The entire trail offers a lot of picturesque views where every turn feels like a giant curtain unfurling, revealing dramatic landscapes drenched in a mindboggling array of colours.

Sangla Kanda

A 'kanda' is a name given to the meadows or pastures that are situated at high altitudes. Likewise, the people of Sangla also have their own meadows, which is famously known as the 'Sangla Kanda'. The trek to Sangla Kanda (3600 m) offers an enchanting experience as you will hike through small houses, a bridge across the river, dense forests, rocky mountains and beautiful grasslands before reaching the lake.

To preserve the serenity of our riverside location, the property is a scenic 300-metre walk from the parking area. This short stroll alongside the Baspa River is the perfect way to stretch your legs and breathe in the crisp mountain air after your drive.

We encourage a "digital detox" to help our guests fully immerse themselves in the "Zen" of the Himalayas. Therefore, we do not provide TVs or Wi-Fi. It is a rare opportunity to disconnect from the screen and reconnect with nature.

April to June offers pleasant weather and blooming orchards, while September and October are famous for the world-renowned Kinnauri apples and vibrant autumn colors. For snow lovers, early spring offers views of majestic snow-capped peaks.
